General
We are now selling Jays School of Dance merchandise to order. You can buy vest tops, t shirts, jumpers and tracksuit bottoms in black or white. See your teacher if you'd like to order one.
Latin and Ballroom wear

The pictures below show outfits for Ballroom and Latin that have been designed especially for the school. These can be worn for competition work, and some are suitable for practise and exam work. There is also a lycra leotard and skirt that is available in the schools colours which cost from £30 for a Juvenile and £35 for a Junior.

Boys and Mens outfits
We recommend that these pupils wear black trousers, a white shirt and a black tie or bow tie for examiantion and competition work. A shirt and trousers is also recommended for practise wear.
Disco wear
There is a list of clothing that is suitable for the Disco examinations and competitions.

You will need to say that you are from our school and they will be able to provide you with a list of items. Do not forget, if you already have the items we do not expect you to buy them, just check with us that they are suitable.

Under 12’s

Young adults/Adults

- We have not specified the colour of your leotards or tops. This is because we would rather you chose a colour that you like, but they must be completely plain for beginners.
- Do not forget, if you are buying a pairs outfit it is best if you have the same colour, but you can have a different colour for your solo/examination.
- Under 12’s do not have to buy the hot pants or trousers if they are happy to just wear the leotard.
We would prefer all pupils to wear jazz shoes or boots. If you already have a pair of jazz trainers they are fine for class work and some competitions but may not be suitable for certain examination dances.

Boogiewear and fabrics
This dance wear company will make leotards, shorts, etc to order and in a range of colours. You will need to contact Lynne on the number below with the measurements for your outfit. Don't forget, if you are a beginner you must have a plain outfit. April has the swatches of material if you want to check out the colours.
